Senior Project Officer

The Policy and Partnership Manager coordinates NABERS policy engagement across a range of policy areas at both Commonwealth and jurisdiction level. When incorporated into public policy, NABERS ratings can drive substantial resource intensity reductions and emissions abatement, so this role engages with policy stakeholders at all stages of policy formulation.

This role also oversees NABERS international work including licensed schemes NABERS UK and NABERS New Zealand. Work includes managing scheme expansion opportunities, engagement with new prospective partners, licensing agreement drafting and negotiation, oversight of scheme administration and governance.

Technical Officers

We currently have 4 Technical Officer positions available.

Technical Officers work on key projects to expand and improve NABERS, as well as assist with Level 1 Audits.

Level 1 Audits are a quality assurance process undertaken internally by NABERS on 100% of NABERS rating applications. These audits ensure that buildings are awarded the rating they deserved based on performance by checking NABERS Assessors are using the right data and have applied it in the right way. This ensures consistency and reliability of ratings.
