NABERS is seeking expressions of interest from industry stakeholders to join our National Steering Committee.
The NABERS National Steering Committee (NSC) includes Stakeholder Members from bodies representing the wide range of NABERS stakeholders. These non-voting members are called on to offer valuable advice and insights to help shape the future direction of NABERS. They sit alongside our Government Members, consisting of the state, territory and federal governments of Australia.
Stakeholder Members are invited to join the NSC every 3 years. As the current term comes to an end, we're seeking stakeholder representation from industry bodies and relevant organisations to join the NSC from 2027. The new term will commence on 1 January 2027 and conclude on 31 December 2029.
Expressions of interest are now open and close Monday 31 August 2026 at 5pm AEST.
Who is eligible
To be eligible to be selected as a Stakeholder Member, an organisation must be an industry body or similar type of organisation representing a defined group of stakeholders. Non-industry organisations, such as associations of local governments, will also be considered.
Individual people or companies are not eligible to be Stakeholder Members.

How to apply
To apply, organisations need to nominate a suitably experienced individual who has the authority to consult with and provide feedback on behalf of the organisation and its members.
Refer to the National Steering Committee EOI guidelines for direction on submitting an application. Your submission should include one page that addresses the selection criteria found in Section 4.1. It should also include the curriculum vitae of the proposed representative as detailed in Section 4.2.
